The Ritual Bough recognizes that our animal companions are more than just ‘pets’, but are family members and best friends. The loss of an animal companion can be just as heart-wrenching as the loss of a human family member. I believe that these losses can and should be acknowledged via meaningful ritual and ceremony.
The Ritual Bough can assist you in planning for the end-of-life of your beloved companion, can help you plan a home funeral, can design or recommend legacy projects or objects, and can assist in memorial ceremonies and altars.

- End-of-life planning: talking through what your animal companion, and your, needs may be at end-of-life and how to address them
- After death care: such as home funerals, and the creation of cremation or burial boxes
- Legacy discussions: including what kinds of memorial objects you may want
- Memorial ceremonies: the planning and conduct of a memorial event for your companion animal (may take place at any time after the death of your beloved)
- Altars: we can guide you in the creation of a personal altar for your animal companion
